This Web page provides detailed information about the various online presentations and in person workshops that will be held throughout the school year about the California English Language Development Test (CELDT). All online presentations are recorded and archived for one year and may be accessed from this Web page.
This California Department of Education (CDE) presentation provides information on the purposes and uses of the CELDT, requirements, laws, and regulations.
These CDE presentations provide information on reports, the Data Review Module, and using CELDT data.
These short videos, posted as streaming media, provide basic CELDT information to new coordinators to help build a stronger foundation of knowledge about the CELDT prior to attendance at a statewide or local/regional STOT workshop.
This series of recorded presentations called CELDT Quarterly Webinars are held quarterly each year and cover general administrative trainings. Presentation topics include test administration, score reporting activities, and important deadlines and reminders that will occur in the months following the posting.
At these state-sponsored workshops, individuals who will be CELDT trainers or test examiners learn about administering and scoring the CELDT. The training also provides important updates to the CELDT program and information about enhanced trainer resources. The majority of STOT workshops take place in April and May for each upcoming CELDT edition.
These brief, step-by-step recorded presentations provide CELDT District Coordinators with instructions on how to use specific CELDT Web-based applications.
