The California English Language Development Test (CELDT) Web site is an informational hub for CELDT District and Site Coordinators for all things related to the administration and implementation of the CELDT. Updates and Reminders
2015 –16 Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator Form.
New districts must contact the Customer Support Center to obtain a Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator Authorization Request 2015–16 Edition (SDF) form. If your CELDT District Coordinator is changing, submit an Authorization Request by logging on to the secure District Portal and selecting the link to the form at the top of the page.
2015–16 Edition Initial Ordering Window.
Districts that did not submit an Initial Order for testing materials in the spring can do so at this time. To place an Initial Order, access the secure District Portal and select the Order Management link.
2015–16 Edition Additional Ordering Window.
The Additional Ordering Window is now open. Districts may place one Additional Order through the secure District Portal each month. A $45 processing fee will be charged for each subsequent order in the month. Allow 5–7 business days for processing. Report overages and shortages for these shipments within two weeks of receipt.
2015–16 Edition Request a Pickup.
The first day to schedule a pickup of 2015–16 Edition scorable test materials is Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Access the secure District Portal and select the Request a Pickup link to request a pickup of scorable materials.
2015–16 Edition Secure District Portal Passwords.
Passwords to the secure District Portal were reset and sent on July 1, 2015. An e-mail with the district’s username and a separate e-mail with the password were sent to the designated CELDT District Coordinator. To have the e-mails resent, contact the CELDT Customer Support Center.
2015–16 Edition Local Scoring Tool (LST).
The LST is now available. Use this calculation tool to prepare a Preliminary Local Student Score Report for students who take the CELDT as an Initial Assessment (IA). The LST is available via the Quick Links section on the CELDT Web Site.
2015–16 Edition Pre-Identification (Pre-ID) Regular Window.
The 2015–16 Edition Pre-ID Window is open through Friday, September 18, 2015. Review the Pre-ID Services Web page for information about purchasing labels, file submission requirements, and downloading the Pre-ID User Guide and Pre-ID Data File Layout.
2015–16 Edition Initial Order Test Materials Overages and Shortages.
Report overages, shortages, or incorrect receipt of materials for your entire district to the CELDT Customer Support Center Tuesday, May 19 through Monday, August 10, 2015.
2015–16 Edition Scoring Training of Trainers (STOT) Workshops.
Registration for STOT statewide workshops is now open. Dates and locations are posted on the Workshop Locations Web page. Registration priority for the 2015–16 STOT workshops will be given to CELDT district trainers who have never attended a STOT workshop. To register for a workshop, log on to the District Portal and select the STOT link.
2014–15 Edition Secure Materials Destruction.
The Secure Materials Destruction Window is open Thursday, May 21 through Thursday, July 30, 2015. View the Secure Materials Destructions Instructions document on the Document Archive Web page for more information about secure destruction options and instructions on how to indicate the method your district has chosen.
2014–15 Edition Annual Assessment (AA) Window Summary Reports.
Due to the CALPADS merge process and the later Data Review Module Window, the AA Window Summary Reports will not be shipped to districts until later this summer.
On-Your-Own Shipping(i.e., districts shipping scorable documents via their carrier without using the online scorable Request a Pickup application) is not necessary unless the shipping deadlines for the close of the AA or IA windows are not met(October and June administration months).
