The California English Language Development Test (CELDT) Web site is an informational hub for CELDT District Coordinators for all things related to the administration and implementation of the CELDT. News & Updates
- Your 2009−10 district password was reset on January 29, 2010. This password allows you to logon to the secure District Portal and access various functions such as data correction, training workshop registration, materials orders, and Pre-ID. [Posted 1/25/10]
To receive your 2010−11 district password, you must submit a 2010-11
Superintendent's Designation of the CELDT District Coordinator form. Download and complete this form and mail or fax it to Educational Data Systems after obtaining your district Superintendent’s signature. Within 24 hours of receipt at Educational Data Systems, your record will be updated and you will receive an e-mail containing your secure password.
- The 2010−11 Scoring Training of Trainers (STOT) workshop registration is now open. Workshops are scheduled from April 15 through May 20, and two additional workshops are scheduled in August 2010. Several local/regional training workshops are also available for those who cannot attend State-sponsored workshops. Individuals who will be CELDT trainers during the 2010−11 school year must attend one of these workshops to learn about administering and scoring the 2010−11 Edition of the CELDT.

- The CELDT Pre-Identification (Pre-ID) window opens on June 21, 2010 and closes September 24, 2010. The Pre-Identification Layout and User Guide are now available to districts on the Pre-ID Services page.
- Additional materials for the 2009-10 Edition should be ordered by June 18, 2010 in order to arrive before June 30, 2010, the last day to test for Initial Identification in the 2009-10 year. To place an additional order, logon to the secure District Portal and select on Order Management.
- The CELDT unused and nonscorable return and destruction window opens June 7, 2010. Instructions will be e-mailed to district coordinators in May.
