The California English Language Development Test (CELDT) Web site is an informational hub for CELDT District and Site Coordinators for all things related to the administration and implementation of the CELDT. Please check back often, as this Web site will be updated regularly to reflect current test administration activities.

Updates and Reminders

• To submit a 2012–13 Edition Superintendent's Designation of CELDT District Coordinator form (SDF), log on to the secure District Portal and select the link to the form at the top of the page. Passwords will be reset and sent on July 2, 2012 to the coordinator designated for the 2012–13 Edition. [Posted 4/2/12]
• To update the current 2011–12 Edition District Coordinator’s information, submit a Superintendent's Designation of CELDT District Coordinator 2011–12 Edition form (SDF). [Posted 3/5/12]
• The 2011–12 Edition Post-Data Review Module Cumulative Student Score File is available now within the secure District Portal. Download this file and update district student information systems with the revised information. [Posted 5/2/12]
• The 2011–12 Annual Assessment (AA) Window Performance Level Summary Reports and Roster Reports for students whose test purpose is AA will be shipped to districts in May 2012. Contact the Customer Support Center if reports are not received by Thursday, May 31, 2012. [Posted 5/2/12]
• 2012–13 Edition Initial Order test materials shipments will arrive at districts May 21–June 15, 2012 for districts that submitted the order during the Initial Ordering Window and a 2012–13 Edition SDF by the extended April 6 deadline. Districts that will not be receiving the Initial Order shipment this spring have been sent an e-mail. [Posted 5/2/12]
• The 2012–13 Edition Pre-Identification (Pre-ID) Window opens Tuesday, June 12, 2012. The Pre-ID Services Web page, including Pre-ID label pricing and links to the Pre-ID User Guide and Pre-ID Data File Layout, will be available by June 8, 2012. [Posted 5/2/12]
• The Secure Materials Destruction Window is open June 1–July 31, 2012. View the Secure Materials Destruction Option Instructions on the Document Archive Web page for more information about secure destruction options and for instructions on how to indicate the method your district has chosen. • Attendance at a state-sponsored or local/regional 2012–13 Edition Scoring Training of Trainers (STOT) workshop is mandatory for individuals who will be CELDT trainers during the 2012–13 administration, including those who have attended STOT workshops in prior years. To register for a workshop and/or to view the district’s allocation (the number of representatives who can attend the training), log on to the District Portal and select the Scoring Training of Trainers (STOT) Workshops link. • Districts may order Post-Data Review Module (DRM) Student Performance Level Reports that reflect changes made during the DRM. To order, download the Optional Services Order Form from the Optional Services Web page. [Posted 2/28/12]
• On-Your-Own Shipping (i.e., districts shipping via their own carrier without using the online CELDT Request a Pickup application) has been eliminated for the 2011–12 Edition with the exceptions of the end of the Annual Assessment (AA) and Initial Assessment (IA) Window deadlines (October and June administration months).
